Membership in the Association is open to owners of property in the Cherry Quay section of the Township of Brick, County of Ocean and the State of New Jersey, or those having agreements to purchase property in Cherry Quay. The boundaries included shall be as follows: all properties on Tiller Lane and on streets crossing Tiller Lane (except for Cherry Quay Road) in the north to Royal Drive on the east, then southeast along Royal Drive to Kettle Creek on the south, along the land mass on the south side in a westerly direction and north on Cherry Quay Road, then north to the point where Tiller Lane joins Cherry Quay Road. Let it also be known that any member who is outside of these boundaries and is a member in good standing (as per Article 5) may exercise the right to renew membership in accordance with the grandfather clause.
Benefits of Joining
There are several benefits to becoming a member of our organization. Our members are close friends and we have a great time when we get together. Upon payment of dues, a member shall receive a membership card and/or badges to be carried at all times when using any Association property. Boat ramp privileges will be granted to members with watercraft if they provide the Association with watercraft type and registration numbers or otherwise identify the vessel they intend to use. Keys may be used only by persons entitled to use Association property. Members in good standing may vote in accordance with Article 6 of the Bylaws and be elected or appointed to any office in the Association. Members are permitted to attend CQCA parties and events, and can list classified advertisements in the newsletter and on the website free of charge. How Can You Join?
